A Tee-rific Day on the Greens!
On Monday, October 12, 68 golfers teed off at Cimarrone Golf Club for the 2nd Annual Drive for the Tide â and by every measure, it was our best tournament yet. Pacing, games, and price point all drew praise, and the day ran from a smooth 12:30 PM shotgun start through an evening of auctions and awards.
The live auction, led by pour special guest Heather Crawford, raised ~$4,500.
The short-putt game was a crowd favorite, 84% of players grabbed the $35 Ultimate Play Pass, and everyone went home with swag bags featuring custom wooden ball markers handcrafted by Nick Matthew.
This year meant something extra: student golfers joined us on the course. The Boys and Girls BHS Golf Teams played â and already wants back next year â and a heartfelt thank-you from Jaden of the boys golf team reminded us exactly who we do this for. Student inclusion is now part of the tournament's foundation going forward.
The day closed back at the club with awards, a live auction featuring a Family Membership to Cimarrone, and dinner â rain or shine, and this time it was shine.
To our volunteers and Board:
the setup, the dÊcor, the food, the prizes, the auction: thank you for giving your time and energy so generously.
The day looked effortless because of you!
THANK YOU!
To our Sponsors:
